M4G01 GSM Start/Stop ENGINE MODULE

The M4G01 GSM Module is design for connection to Kensho Auto start Controllers, allowing cellular connectivity and control for ends users via text messages to a mobile phone. Without the need for special software, the M4G01 can be programmed with up to five (5) users via the LCD display and keypad of the Kensho auto start controller. User mobile phone numbers are entered into the Auto controller to allow remote start/stop and status indication.

Based on normal or shutdown protections features of the auto start controller, text messages are sent to all the defined users indicating the running status or fault condition of the equipment. Each M4G01 module can be programmed with unique site name or asset number of the equipment such that multiple sites within a user group are identifiable.Each M4G01 module can be programmed with unique site name or asset number of the equipment such that multiple sites within a user group are identifiable. Designed for a variety of applications, the M4G01 and Controller can be setup for complete status indication or “fault status only” with programmable message, repeat times. Refer to your particular controller for setup and available features. Much like your standard mobile phone, a signal strength indicator is provided indicating the signal coverage for your location. Messages are stored in the module until read and then automatically deleted once acted on by the Auto start controller. Unsolicited or non-registered mobile numbers are ignored and deleted to protect the security of your asset. When the auto start controller is in AUTO mode, the M4G01 is able to start and stop your engine based on a simple start message. Real time information can be also be acquired from asset by another simple text command. If the controller shuts the asset down, a descriptive text message is sent to all the registered users outlining the reason for the shutdown Basic Messages that are available.

M4G01-Operational Commands

START--Start command for when the asset needs to run – The M4G01 replies with a confirmation text.

STOP--Stop command for when the asset needs to shutdown – The M3G01 replies with a confirmation text message.

ESTOP--Emergency Stop command which also takes the asset out of Auto mode and inhibits the asset completely.

INFO--Returns the current status of the panel for important information such as engine hours and battery voltage etc without the need to travel to the unit.

AUTO--The controller can be put back into AUTO mode if accidently left in manual or has been powered up after a latched fault.
